Living Expenses: (Top areas in the city)

Living in Hyderabad is cheaper compared to New Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai and Bangalore. Average living rent for a 2 BHK Flat is RS 12000/- in almost all areas. Where as in IT Hub area’s Madhapur, Gachibowli, Kondapur average rent is Rs 18000/- for 2 BHK apartment and for 3 BHK flat it is Rs 22000/- and in premium living areas like Jubilee Hills, Banjara Hills, Film Nagar 4 BHK will cost Rs 40000/- to Rs 50000/- per month.

Education Expenses:

Education in Hyderabad is cheaper than Chennai, Mumbai, Bangalore and average school fee for kids care, day care, pre-school is Rs 25000, from I to V class schooling is Rs 50000/- and VI to X class its 150000/- per year and international school fee will be different from the above. Food Expenses:

Hyderabad is known for its world famous Hyderabadi Biryani & street food. Many varieties are available from Veg to Non-Veg, South-Indian to North-Indian food. Hyderabad is also well known for sweets like – Hyderabad special kurbanika metta, rasmailly, Laddu, double ka metta, etc. Average food cost for daily life is Rs 150 (which includes breakfast, lunch and dinner) and expensive as Rs 350/day and Hyderabad Dum Biryani per person will cost Rs 200/- (Chicken) & Rs 250/- (Mutton/Lamb).

Grocery Expenses:

Buying grocery through online / local weekly market is easier and cheaper. And most of Indian / International groceries & fruits are easily available here. Hyderabad is also known for seasonal fruits like Guva, Papiah, Seethaval, Mangoes, Graphs, etc.

Buy eggs at Rs 35/10, chicken at 180/kg, mutton at 450/kg at most of the places.

    Thanks for providing the Information and as I live in Hyderabad the costs provided here are nearly right. Hyderabad where one can observe different types of people here,lots of stalls,hotels,minishops etc where the range is from low to high cost really gives lot of information to understand.
